Feel free to write just towards my general likes instead of my prompts (or writing whatever you're inspired to write, as long as it doesn't go against my do not wants). I’m not super married to any of the prompts – I just thought they might be helpful.

• Canon divergences are always fun! Canon-typical plots in general are my jam. Wanna write post-canon fic? I love it!
  
• Smut is always excellent and PWP is welcome. The sex I best like to read has a lot of enthusiasm from both sides. Maybe the sex is funny, maybe it's just sexy, but everyone is having fun. Anal sex is definitely a big like for me, but if you'd rather write oral or handjobs because that's what you feel more comfortable with or more inspired to write, please go for those instead! Don't feel tied to the butt! If you want some more specific inspiration, here are some tags I asked for in Smut 4 Smut: Desperate Sex, Consensual Drunk Sex, Jealousy leads to possessive sex (standard gong vinegar style, not actually controlling behavior), Awkward Sex, Topping from the Bottom, Dirty Talk (I prefer praise/general enjoyment/sharing fantasies to degrading/threatening talk - it's also really nice when it's customized to the character rather than being generic), Roleplaying (the more unique to the characters the better), Semi-Public Sex (like when they're hidden away but someone might hear them/walk in on them - I don't like voyeurism or exhibitionism though).
  
• I love crossdressing/crossdressing plots/crossdressing during sex. I don’t like it when there’s an element of humiliation or shame though. I don't want any changing of pronouns or referring to body parts by names other than what they actually are. If you write crossdressing during sex, I don't care whether the crossdressing character is topping or bottoming.
  
• I also enjoy hurt/comfort – and characters getting injured in general. I don't like hurt/comfort when it's stuff like, a character has a cold and gets pampered. Here are some tags I asked for in the H/C Exchange: Blood Loss, coughing up blood, field medicine, Hurt can only be resolved with Sex for some reason, and Trapped Together While One Is Injured.
  
• If you're looking for spooky things, here's some tags I asked for in the Jump Scare exchange: Horror Comedy, Blood and Gore, Competently handling the horrifying thing, Creeping Horror, folk horror, The kind of 'scary' that could be described as 'haunting', Tending to injury incurred by horror situation.
  
• Missing scenes are always fun! I also like humor and fic that's just exploring a character or relationship.
  
• I love established relationship fic. Feel free to write alternate get-togethers, though!
  
• I enjoy fic of any rating. I know explicit fic covers a large part of my output and some of my prompts, but that's just how my brain goes for ideas and doesn't reflect all the things that I like reading.
  
• Feel free to go for whatever length of story you want - minimum word count, 2k, 5k, 10k - go for what you enjoy!

General Do Not Wants

• Permanent injury of requested characters.
  
• Major character death. Canonical deaths and OC deaths are fine.
  
• Alternate universe fics (e.g., setting changes, role reversal, gender changes, A/B/O, etc.), except for canon divergence and where specifically requested.
  
• Time travel and time loops.
  
• Pregnancy of any sort in anyone, including mentions. Kids. Deaging. Babies. Lactation.
  
• Breaking up canon pairings or making it so canon pairings never happened.
  
• Crossovers and fusions.
  
• Writing characters as trans, asexual, or aromantic who are not explicitly so in canon.
  
• Cancer.
  
• Negotiation about consent or kinks. I want everyone to be enthusiastic into what they're doing, but discussion is not needed.

I laughed so hard reading ISMM and it cheers me up so much. Wei Yanzi is just... hilarious. He wants his fluff! I can't even pick all his funniest moments... was it when he strained his pelvis trying to be sexy? The angry LoL playing? His enjoyment of the 139 page PDF Niangzi manifesto? He just absolutely kills me. I don't normally go for secondhand embarrassment but ISMM just does it SO WELL and so affectionately. As for the style of the canon, please write whatever you're most comfortable with. You can imitate the original canon format or switch to third person - I don't care. Established relationship is very welcome with this pairing.
NIANGZI IS RIO so of course if you would like to write the ship, I'm all about it.
If you write anal, Wei Yanzi has to bottom. I'm sorry but I cannot imagine him topping ANYONE, even though I'm sure Gu Yiliang would go with whatever Yanyan wanted.

*screams into hands* I love him so much! As you could see from my likes, I love crossdressing gongs and he sure as hell does it well and with clear zest. He's so wonderfully protective without being smothering, and I find him so interesting in how he acts differently inside and outside the door. How inside the door he's so quick to play the damsel in distress for Linlin, how affectionate he is, ALL THE BEDSHARING AND CUDDLING, and then outside the door he acts so cold and distant. His flirtatiousness is great. Also, Chestnut approves of him, so he's clearly a keeper for Lin Qiushi. I ship Nanqiu like burning with how absolutely loving and supportive they are, so consider it requested. THEY GO THROUGH SO MUCH TOGETHER AND THEY'RE BOTH SO BRAVE... FOR EACH OTHER!!!
If you write anal, I'd rather Ruan Nanzhu top.
It's fine to mention LQS's cancer; I just don't want a focus on it and certainly not him dying from it.
I'm keeping up with the English TL, but I've also MTLed the whole thing with the extras.

You Huo
HE'S SUCH AN IRON WOOBIE. So stoic! So secretly soft! So shameless about having a boyfriend! My first impression of You Huo was that he was OP without any depth but it turns out he's OP with a tragic backstory and... surprisingly cute? His relationship with Qin Jiu is great - I love how equal it is, how much they respect each other, HOW THEY'VE FALLEN FOR EACH OTHER 3 SEPARATE TIMES, the fact that they are shameless (SHAMELESS!!!). Qin Jiu's teasing goes so well with You Huo's cooler (YET CARING) personality. Jiuhuo is very much requested!!
If you write anal, I'd prefer that Qin Jiu top. You Huo getting wrecked... exquisite.
I am keeping up with the translation, but I think it might actually be done by the time that fics are due, so I may add some prompts based on however it ends. Please don't feel compelled to check back on my letter, though!

• There's so much room for exploring You Huo's past, particularly with Qin Jiu. Anything exploring more of how they got together those first two times would be great!
  
• You Huo's past before he met Qin Jiu would also be interesting! Or what about when he was recovering from being kicked from the system, before the novel started?
  
• Remember the exam right before they got together, with the Duke and the "married" couples? WHAT IF... you wrote a canon divergence... where Qin Jiu and You Huo were assigned as a married couple... or if in order to group up, You Huo put on a dress? WHEEZE. Maybe the system wouldn't go off if they did it because *waves hands vaguely* the system got confused.
  
• WHY DIDN'T MUSULI INCLUDE ANY DESCRIPTIONS OF THE JIUHUO BLOODDRINKING??? YOU COULD FIX IT.
